Propaganda is message or poster post through out a certain state to influence the behaviors and ideas of the citizen. The posters have a certain message that basically runs into the mind of the people and try to make them support the propaganda. This poster has aims for the personal ideas of the government or the head to ensure that his power still consist and want his followers to support him. This type of message is use before the improvement of technology, when television and radio doesn’t exist, Pictures on the posters has a very straight forward meaning and can influence people easily. The message of this poster is the path of Russia to Communism by following the ideas of Marxism. The ideas of the three leaders of communism (Marx, Engel, and Lenin) are; communism would bring peace to their land and also the belief in socialism. It was a new path for Russia after standing the inequality of classes and rank. Worker wants a change to their live so this poster actually influences them to rise up to fight for Communism and believe that this type of government would be suits best for them. With the power of Lenin and his supporter Russia then became Communism, but it was only the start. The symbolism in this picture is the flag with the picture of the three leaders of communism, this represent the ideas of Communism heading toward the people in Russia, and also the people rising up to fight for the new change (person holding the flag). The most effective part of this poster is especially the pictures of the three leaders, especially Lenin who has many supporters.

The message in this poster is that is especially Lenin trying to let out his warning for the start of the Slogan he made “Peace, Land, Bread”. This Slogan he made influence most of the people, first because many people believe that he could bring a great change to Russia and second his slogan was basically aiming for the best and the main problem of the citizen of Russia. Peace is to stop war, Bread is to stop poverty, and Land is to share land equally among all of the people. The purpose of this poster is Lenin is trying to gain more influence from the people (worker class) so that he could continue on to Socialism in Russia then Communism. The result of the slogan Lenin made went quite good until the last situation appear, but try to solve it with many different economy; War Communism and New Economic Policy. So he was trying his best for the people and also trying to gain the most supporters. The most effective part of this picture is that Lenin holding the newspaper Pravda symbolize and describe about the slogan he made “Peace, Land, Bread” should begin and Lenin is serious about bringing it to all his supporters.

The message of this poster is the period of time, Lenin wish to bring peace to Russia, by ending the war between Germany and Russia. Lenin signs a treaty with Germany by the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk and needed to lose certain areas of Russia. But it doesn’t really matters to Stalin, the area that was lost mostly consist of people of people who resist Lenin and wasn’t part of Bolsheviks. But it was a great trade when peace came to Russia and one of the resistance group was taken. Lenin shows his people that he was really aiming for the peace of Russia and he knew since the beginning that Russia didn’t really had a problem or conflict against Germany but France and Serbia was set into war so they went to support. Lenin saw the lost of soldiers and destruction of land so his slogan on “Peace, Land, Bread” already had an aim. To end war with Germany was the aim for Peace. This poster represent Lenin holding a clock watching for the time peace would settle in Russia or even tells about how long he had think about solving this problem ever since being the head of bringing Communism to Russia.

The message of this poster is that Lenin is influencing everybody to bring Communism to Russia. People would learn and understand the true meaning of Communism only by learning them following the ideas of Marx. By this Lenin made this poster to gain more supporters for Communism and also rely on the next generation to bring the goal of Communism to Russia. A college set up by the Bolsheviks in Moscow Soviet aims was to teach the students and people of Communism. The posters represent the teaching and college of which true Communism is taught. The most effective part of this poster is the picture of the college and many people studying in there. This represents that Communist have a lot of supporters.

The message of this poster is influencing people to start a revolution. Lenin who was the head of the revolution and has a lot of supporters is trying to influence the people to change the government type to Communist. Before all the revolution the worker class was so much in chaos so they stood up to support the ideas of Lenin. It was really the time for a big change in Russia, after the Tsar went out to lead the war against Germany. Lenin return from his exile and lead the revolution. The result of this revolution was the monarchy was ended and the state of Communism is beginning. This posters actually influencing people to stand up for Communist by leading a revolution against the Provisional government and the monarchy wishing for the better change and equality among the Russian citizens. The poster represents a group of people marching or forming a revolutionary group to fight against the Provisional Government and the Tsar. The strongest bit of this poster is the people marching in big groups, this part could actually influence many people to join the revolution because it all ready describe that most of the people wanted a change in their life and they could see that many people already supported the revolution.

To my conclusion about all the posters I saw in http://posters.nce.buttobi.net/russ1.htm, it shows that the situation in Russia during the rule of the Tsar to the period of Stalin was a chaos. It was the time in which Propaganda was presented to the citizen to influence people to try the revolutionaries or follow the order of which leads the government. All of the posters represent that Russia is in a situation in which each of the head in different period of time is wishing for a change within the country. And this also represent that the people in Russia follows what ever is on the poster even though it’s the aim only for the leaders personal self. The citizens just believe and trust in the leader so much and give every single percentage of them to support the leaders decision.
